Porsche Motorsport Boss Tells Everything There Is to Know about the Cayman GT4

Cayman GT4 was developed by Porsche Motorsport, the same division responsible for the 911 GT3 and other similar products, proves that Porsche was serious about building the ultimate Cayman.

EVO’s Jethro Bovingdon talked to Porsche Motorsport’s GT car boss Andreas Prueninger about the Cayman GT4, which is described as the 911 GT3’s little brother. As you probably know by now, the Cayman GT4 features a 385PS (380hp) 3.8-liter flat-six engine derived from the 911 Carrera S mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, which allow it to sprint from 0 to 100km/h (62 mph) in 4.4 seconds and to reach a top speed of 295km/h (183mph).

It may sound simple, but there are many more changes than the engine (which at first didn’t even fit into the Cayman), and they are all detailed in the video posted below.
