Mazda Launches MX-5 /Miata Facelift in Japan - New JDM Image Gallery


 Mazda MX-5 Roadster MiataFollowing its introduction at the Paris Motor Show earlier this Fall, Mazda's updated MX-5 / Miata has finally reached the firm's Japanese dealerships. Aptly called Roadster in Japan, the open-top sportscar is priced in its domestic market from 2,330,000 to 2,600,000 yen ($25,100 - $28,000) for the soft top models, and from 2,680,000 to 2,950,000 yen ($28,900 - $31,800) for the Power Retractable Hard Top (RHT). In Japan the Roadster is available exclusively with the revamped 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine hooked up to either a 5-speed (available only on the soft-top), a 6-speed manual gearbox or in the case of the hardtop model, a 6-speed automatic transmission.
