Luxury Auto Brand Market Share In Canada - November 2011

BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Audi accounted for 56.2% of the 12,750 premium brand vehicles sold in Canada in November 2011. Acura was Canada's third-best-selling luxury automaker last month as sales rose 6.5%, year-over-year. Acura's market share in Canada's luxury category grew ever so slightly from 12% in October to 12.1%. BMW's market share increased to 23.6% from 19.3% a month earlier.

Together, America's two luxury brands owned barely more than 10% of the Canadian luxury auto market in November. The share grabbed by the Ford Motor Company's Lincoln brand grew to 5.8% from October's 5.3%. Cadillac's portion climbed from 4.3% to 4.5%.
