Jaguar XFR-S Meets Mercedes E 63 AMG, Loses Hands Down...



The 542hp Jaguar XFR-S is without a doubt, the most extreme Jaguar sedan ever made. Powered by the same 5.0-liter supercharged engine from the equally bonkers XKR-S, the sports sedan is capable of supercar-rivaling performance, with 0-100 km/h (62 mph) rated at 4.4 seconds and a top speed of 299 km/h( 186 mph).

But how does the British newcomer stack up against a well-established German super sedan like the Mercedes E 63 AMG? Autocar’s Steve Sutcliffe put both cars to the test and reached some unsurprising conclusions.
