Idiotic List With Celebrity Polluters

A green motoring organization in the UK called “City Car Club” has come up with a list that includes the top-10 celebrities that pollute the most. The Brits added the total CO2 emissions of the celebrities’ automobiles creating an average level of carbon dioxide emissions per kilometer for each star. The list includes celebrities like David Beckham, Simon Cowell, 50 Cent and “Mr Bean” Rowan Atkinson.

Before we have our say, let us note that we wouldn’t care less about the stars in the list but we do care a great deal about the environment. However, we cannot understand the meaning behind this list other than it includes eye-catching celebrity names. They found ten people whose cars pollute two to three-times more than your average Joe’s car – so what? It’s not as if everyone idolizes these people and even if some do, how many of them will buy a Veyron?

And please don’t say that if we take out all the Ferraris and Bugattis in the world, it’s going to make things much better – cause it won’t. In order to make a difference you have to make cars like the Toyota Corolla, Ford F-150 and VW Golf that sell by the millions more eco-friendly and that’s the hard truth. Feel free to agree or disagree with us. -Continued
