Then Harley-Davidson made a mistake in production of their 2008 motorcycles. 47,579 Harleys could be in need of a fix. The models involved are listed below. Each motorcycle's fuel filter shell will be replaced because of possible cracking that, as you guessed, could lead to a leak and loss in fuel pressure. Stalling motorcycles are dangerous. Harley-Davidson dealers will take care of it. Questions can be directed to the manufacturer at 1-414-343-4056.Â
