Green day: Nissan Hybrid Concept at the 2006 IAA
Aside The concept features a parallel hybrid powertrain (co-developed by Nissan and ZF) with a powerful electric motor (eMotor powered by an ion-lithium battery) supplementing the Cabstar's conventional diesel engine, a 3.0 litre common-rail diesel developing 150PS (110kW). Besides emitting less pollution, the Hybrid Cabstar is expected to cut fuel bills by up to 30 per cent.
