Ford Cutting Jobs outside North America


Continuing its cost cutting measures, Ford Motor Company announced today that it will cut some salaried jobs in its international operations. According to a report from Bloomberg, Ford’s spokeswoman Marcey Evans said that the eliminations outside North America will include trimming jobs in Asia, however the reductions will be on a smaller scale the than the 15% cut in salaried costs that the company is applying in its North American operations by August 1.
