U.S. sales of commercial vans jumped 7% to 38,566 units in June 2015, a meaningful gain produced by both the full-size and small sub-segments.
U.S. Vehicle Sales Rankings By Model - June 2015 YTD
Ford owned 56% of the overall commercial van category, stealing 55% of the full-size category with the departing E-Series and the now 13-month-old Transit and 59% of the small commercial van sector with the Transit Connect.
The Transit continues to be the best-selling commercial van in America. June was the new van's best month yet.
GM's share of the American commercial van market slid to 23% in June 2015, down from 35% in June 2014.
FCA's trio of Ram vans increased their market share to 7% from 6% a year ago.
