BMW X6: To be built at Spartanburg USA

BMW’s upcoming X6 Crossover (read & see more about it here: BMW X6) will be built in the car maker's Spartanburg plant that’s located in South Carolina USA, stated a source at a BMW supplier (who requested to remain anonymous) to Automotive News. Well to be honest, you don’t need to be a nuclear physicist to assume that the most possible plant for building the X6 is in Spartanburg; one, the X6 is heavily based on the new X5 which is also built in the same plant and two, the X6’s main target is the N. American market so why build it, for example in Germany where the exchange rate between the dollar and the euro favors the second? Via: Automotive News
