In a somewhat surprising move, an official Audi dealer in the UK has posted a classified ad to announce that the dealership has started taking deposits on the yet to be revealed, R8 Spider. Stafford Audi's classified also includes a low-resolution undisguised photo of the drop-top R8 that appears to have been shot during filming of the Iron Man sequel - notice the 'Stark' license plate. According to the dealer, the R8 Spider will only be available with the range-topping 525-horsepower 5.2-liter V10 engine.

Audi Dealer Posts Photo of R8 Spider on Classified Ad, Accepts Orders!
In a somewhat surprising move, an official Audi dealer in the UK has posted a classified ad to announce that the dealership has started taking deposits on the yet to be revealed, R8 Spider. Stafford Audi's classified also includes a low-resolution undisguised photo of the drop-top R8 that appears to have been shot during filming of the Iron Man sequel - notice the 'Stark' license plate. According to the dealer, the R8 Spider will only be available with the range-topping 525-horsepower 5.2-liter V10 engine. Stafford Audi supports that the R8 Spider will most likely make it world premiere at next year's Geneva Salon in March with prices in the UK claimed to start at an estimated £105,000 ($173,500 or €122,700), or about 5 percent more than the coupe model.
