Acura Recalling 273,000 MY 2004-2008 TL vehicles

Honda’s premium marque Acura is recalling 273,000 TLs from the 2004 to 2008 model year due to a faulty power steering hose. According to the Japanese carmaker, prolonged high under-hood temperatures may cause the hose to deteriorate prematurely thus leading to a power steering fluid leakage onto the hot catalytic converter. If this happens, it will generate smoke and possibly lead to an under-hood fire. Acura dealers will install a new heat resistant power steering hose free of charge. Owners of the affected vehicles may contact Acura at 1-800-382-2238 for more info.
