We’re not sure about the name yet but it’s definite that the production version of Ford’s 2006 Paris Show, Iosis-X concept is coming out towards the end of 2008. Based on FoMoCo’s C1 platform (Ford Focus, Mazda3, Volvo S40), the X-MAX will share most of its components with the upcoming Volvo XC60 and if Mazda gives the final ok, with the CX-5. While Volvo’s proposition in the compact SUV / Crossover segment will be 
more upgrade aiming at the German trio – BMW X3, Audi Q5 & Mercedes MLK, the X-MAX will take a hit on the mainstream competitors like Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V and VW’s Tiguan.
