2008 Dodge Challenger R/T’s Interior Scooped

Our second modern muscle-car spy pic comes from our friends at Autoblog.com as one of their readers named Darryll, came across an unguarded 2008 Dodge Challenger R/T 6-speed prototype. Darryll managed to snap a couple of pictures of the Challenger’s interior along with a shot of the 5.7-liter V8 Hemi as the hood was left wide open. Compared to the 2009 Chevy Camaro, Dodge’s design team seems to have spent very little time with the interior using parts from existing Chrysler Group models.

We’re going to wait for the production version to make our final judgement, but we must say that from what we’ve seen up to now, the Challenger’s cabin doesn’t look very promising. Think the guys at Chrysler will make the same mistake as they did with the Sebring/Avenger/Caliber/Compass/Patriot models? -More images after the jump
